Passengers must arrive for check-in a minimum of 30 minutes before departure. Check-in closes 15 minutes before the scheduled time of departure. We recommend that our passengers honour our check-in policy as departure time will not be extended. Failure to turn up for the trip attracts a "no show" penalty.
Bookings and reservations made in advance are subject to availability of vehicles. In the event that we are unable to fulfill your reservation, affected passenger(s) will be rescheduled to another departure time at no extra cost.
All passengers are entitled to one medium sized luggage (30”x22”x15) not exceeding 20kg weight for luggage per ticket. For comfort and safety purposes, we are unable to accommodate any luggage with dimensions exceeding this standard. In cases where specific passenger(s) luggage exceeds this requirement, affected passengers will be asked to purchase an extra seat to accommodate it.
We recommend the use of flexible traveling boxes on our buses for ease of luggage manipulation.
Green-Stallion assumes no liability for fragile, valuable or perishable articles, including camera equipment, telecommunications equipment(mobile phones, PDA's),laptop computers, cash and jewelry; or for damage such as scratches, scuffs, dents, cuts, wheels; or damage due to over packing and manufacturer's defect. All passengers with fragile or valuable items including cash, medicine and drugs should carry such articles as hand baggage (hand baggage include a small purse, computer bag, diaper bag, small backpack which can go under the seat in front of the passenger)
Please note that hazardous materials such as but not limited to - gas cylinders (empty or with content), generators, building materials, fuel in gallons, agrochemicals, herbicides, pesticides; any arms or munitions etc. are prohibited on our vehicles. Passengers are also advised to monitor their luggage till their final destination.
(a) Green-Stallion may refuse carriage as baggage of such prohibited items described above and may refuse further carriage of any such items on discovery thereof.
(b) Green-Stallion may refuse to carry as baggage any item because of its size, shape, weight or character.
(c) Unless advance arrangements for its carriage have been made with Green-Stallion, Green-Stallion may carry on later trips, baggage which is in excess of the applicable free allowance.
(d Green-Stallion may refuse to accept baggage as checked baggage unless it is properly packed in suitcases or other similar containers to ensure safe carriage with ordinary care in handling.
(e) For reasons of safety and security, Green-Stallion may request the passenger to permit a search to be made of his person and his baggage, and may search for the purpose of determining whether he is in possession of or whether his baggage contains any item described in prohibited list above .If the passenger is unwilling to comply with such request, Green-Stallion may refuse to carry the passenger or baggage.
In the course of normal handling, your baggage may show evidence of use. Green-Stallion is never liable for destruction, loss or damage that results from an inherent defect, quality or vice of the baggage. Green-Stallion is not liable for conditions that result from normal wear and tear such as:
*Minor cuts, scratches, scuffs, dents and soil
* Damage to wheels, feet, extending handles and items of fragile or perishable nature
* Damage as a result of over-packed bags
* Loss of external locks, pull straps, security straps, or zipper tabs
* Manufacturer's defects
Passengers are required to cancel reservations a day before departure date whenever there is a change of plans as failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the ticket.
The departure dates and times are changeable up to 24 hours before schedule departure upon payment of a modification fee of N500 and any difference in fare at the time the change is made. Please note that rescheduling is subject to vehicle and seat availability
Passengers with unused tickets are advised to utilize as soon as possible as ticket validity is restricted to two weeks from departure date after which the ticket becomes invalid. To utilize such tickets within the validity period, kindly send an email to email@example.com with new itinerary before proposed travel date of travel Note that all reschedules requests are subject to vehicle and seat availability on desired dates.
Green-Stallion has a no refund policy for all tickets duly purchased from any of her sales channels.
Passengers are advised to contact their banks should they require a refund due to double debits and debits on card transactions or USSD payments without value using our online booking platform. Refund request originating from bank transfers can be processed by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once it is confirmed that funds were acquired and the account number to be credited has been provided by Passengers, a refund will be made within seven (7) working days.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice to passengers due to unforeseen economic circumstances.
• The Child fare rate only applies to children between the ages of 2-10.
• Children within this range cannot travel unaccompanied by an adult.
• Child fare rates can only be assessable upon the presentation of a valid means of identification for the child (ren) on the planned day of travel failure of which will result in discount cancellation.
• An adult is only allowed a maximum of two child fare rates per booking.
Green-Stallion can only provide transportation for unaccompanied children between the ages of 12 to 15 on the condition that the parent or guardian of the minor completes and submits unaccompanied minor form which can be obtained from any of our terminals before the commencement of trip.
We do not carry animals onboard. To this end we shall not accept any responsibility for any animal we refuse to carry on our vehicles and you will be solely responsible for making the necessary arrangements for any animal you attempt to carry on the bus and to which carriage has been refused. Furthermore, we will have no liability to you if you are unable to travel as a result of the refusal of carriage to any animal you attempt to carry on the bus.
Smoking is prohibited while on board
Green-Stallion bus tickets are not transferable and cannot be resold to anyone else.
While we will do all within our control to ensure we comply with communicated departure times, in cases where unforeseen circumstances occur, please note that we are at liberty to alter the departure time without prior notice or compensation. This may have an effect on seat selection.
Should any item be stolen, lost or forgotten, we will not be held liable. Found but unclaimed properties will be kept for a maximum of 30 days before it is disposed of (except perishable items which will be discarded the same day if unclaimed to prevent contamination)
As a company, we recognize the importance of preventive maintenance and we practice it religiously to reduce and possibly eliminate in transit breakdowns. However in the event that it does happen, passengers are requested to contact our call centre using 073-290487. In the event of such occurrence, we will provide a replacement vehicle within the shortest possible time. In situations where an alternative vehicle is provided by Green-Stallion to complete the trip, please note that tickets cannot be reused.
Green Stallion offers optional Insurance per ticket. We offer basic insurance covers as follows: Death N200,000 Medical Expenses N40,000 Burial Expenses N20,000 ( Loss of ) -Both Feet N200,000 -Both Hands N200,000 -Both Eyes N200,000 -One Hand and One Foot N200,000 -One Hand and One Eye N200,000 -One Foot and One Eye N200,000. -One Foot N100,000 -One Hand N100,000 -One Eye only N100,000
